Well, I’m actually not advocating for quite quitting, just to either accept that you are doing more and that you won’t be recognized for it (but you still might enjoy it or learn) or to have a conversation with your boss regarding what it is that you actually do.
If he then refuses to acknowledge, then going back to your job description is a fine move.
I wouldn’t call that “quite quitting” though, as you just stop doing the extra that you were never supposed to be doing in the first place.
